Your stay at the Therapy Center
Your stay begins with recording of your weight, height, and body composition (bioimpedance analysis) and measurement of the circumference and calculation of the volume of the affected extremity using an optoelectronic device.
Daily manual whole-body lymph drainage followed by bandaging is provided from Monday through Friday, and from Sunday through Friday you receive equipment-based compression therapies and bandaging, as well as various exercise therapies. To ensure optimum improvement in your state of health, the therapy program is intensive but not overly strenuous.
At the Therapy Center you´ll also find comfortably furnished rooms that complement the friendly and informal nursing services. A conservatory serves as a lounge, and you are always welcome to use the equipment in our fitness room.
We also attach importance to what you eat. Find out more about the meals served at the Therapy Center on our Lympho-Opt menu page.
The Hirschbach valley in the Hersbrucker Alb region
The Hirschbach valley is located in the midst of the scenic Hersbrucker Alb, one of the prettiest natural areas in Germany. Waymarked hiking paths through extensive nature parks are only a few minutes away from the Therapy Center by car or bus. The town of Hersbruck, the first slow city in Germany, is just as close. The old part of the town dates back to the Middle Ages and it has a spa with a large bathing complex with hot springs, the Frankenalb Therme.
Over 200 km of waymarked hiking paths that offer easy walks will entice you to the Hirschbach valley to enjoy the beauty of nature.
