The Lympho-Opt Clinic is a private health care facility as defined by § 30 of the German Trade Regulation Act. It has a service agreement with the statutory health insurance funds pursuant to § 111 of the German Social Code V (SGB V), which means that patients can be admitted for inpatient rehabilitation measures.
A rehabilitation measure is the course of treatment that is known as a "Kur" in German. An application for the course of treatment must be submitted to the health insurance fund. However, in many cases the patient's pension fund, not the health insurance fund, is responsible.
The Therapy Center is not a clinic; it is a hotel that offers lymphologic therapy. Your booking can be submitted using the form or by calling our hotline. You will then be sent information material and confirmation of your booking.
Costs of inpatient treatment at the Lymphology Clinic
Inpatient admission for treatment comparable to that provided in a hospital used to be covered by German Social Code V. That paragraph has been deleted, however, so health insurance funds can admit patients for hospital treatment only in acute cases on a case-by-case basis.
The Lympho-Opt Clinic has entered into special agreements on rates with the following health insurance funds: LandesVersicherungsAnstalt (LVA) for Middle and Upper Franconia and nationwide with Allgemeinen OrtsKrankenkassen (AOK) and LandesKrankenKassen (LKK) and LandesAltersKrankenkassen (LAK).
Private patients at the Lymphology Clinic
The private health insurance funds consider the Lympho-Opt Clinic to be a mixed health care facility, which means that anyone with private health insurance may be admitted for an acute hospital stay upon referral by the general practitioner, subject to prior authorization by the health insurance fund.
Obviously, patients with private health insurance can also receive inpatient rehabilitation at our Clinic. Costs: 240 € plus the fee for physician's services/ca. 50.-€ per day. The extra charge for single rooms ranges from 30 €, depending on the size of the room.
