To offer comprehensive (integrated) treatment to patients with lipedema or lymphedema, the Lympho-Opt Clinic is working with expert partners to create a network of service providers all over Germany. The network has two main cornerstones. The therapeutic cornerstone includes physicians (both general practitioners and specialists), physical therapists, health supply stores, manufacturers of medical equipment, lymphology clinics, therapy centers, and others. The practical and social cornerstone includes the health insurance funds, financing possibilities (Lympho-Opt fund, loan services, etc.), self-help groups, the German Association to Promote Lymphedema Therapy, lymph networks and lymph forums, and various organizations and activities to promote research and training oriented to lymphology.
The Lympho-Opt Clinic is establishing a quality management system to ensure that the network can guarantee truly superior patient care. It includes training and further training, certification, organizational and financial services, public relations, and a great deal more.

You, the patient, can help build the network: Send us the names and addresses of physicians, therapists, and health supply stores with which you are particularly satisfied. Call us if you´d like to join a self-help group or if you would like to create such a group yourself.
